Why IB Students Choose Trellis
SL & HL Aware
Trellis knows the difference between SL and HL content. Tell it which level you're studying and it focuses on exactly what's in your syllabus.
Conceptual Depth
IB examiners reward understanding, not just method. Trellis explains the why behind every technique, building the insight that earns top marks.
IA Support
Struggling with your Internal Assessment topic? Trellis helps you understand the underlying concepts and methodology — without doing the work for you.
Exam Practice
Timed Paper 1 and Paper 2 practice with mark-scheme feedback. Build the exam technique that turns knowledge into marks.
The IB Challenge
IB students face a unique challenge: depth in six subjects simultaneously, plus Theory of Knowledge, the Extended Essay, and CAS. That's an enormous workload, and most students can't afford a dedicated tutor for every subject.
AI tutoring solves this by providing expert-level support across all your subjects at once. Struggling with integration in Maths AA HL at 10 PM? Switch to IB Chemistry equilibrium at 10:30? No scheduling, no extra cost, no limits.
IB Maths: AA vs AI
Choosing between Analysis & Approaches and Applications & Interpretation is one of the first big IB decisions. AA is more theoretical (calculus-heavy, proof-based) and better for students heading into STEM or economics. AI is more practical (statistics-heavy, modelling-focused) and suits social sciences, business, and design.
Trellis covers both pathways at both levels. If you're unsure which to choose, try a diagnostic in each — your results will help clarify which suits your strengths.
Preparing for IB Exams
IB exams test your ability to apply concepts in unfamiliar contexts. Memorising formulae isn't enough — you need to understand when and why each approach works. Trellis builds this understanding through adaptive questioning that gradually increases in complexity, mirroring the progression from Section A to Section B questions.
Start your IB revision early. Year 1 content forms the foundation for Year 2. Students who use Trellis consistently from the start of the programme report feeling significantly more confident going into mock exams.
